Milan, 2 September 2025 – S2E, a business technology consulting firm specializing in digital transformation, has partnered with Tea Group to carry out an IT modernization project that has led to a more efficient, structured, and business-aligned IT management system.

The evolution of the business and growing internal expectations prompted the Tea Group’s IT department to embark on a profound transformation journey. The goal was not only technological but strategic: to evolve the IT function from a support center to a proactive partner, capable of delivering more agile and effective services to the entire organization.
The previous system, though functional, lacked the necessary flexibility and two key elements:
- IT process management aligned with ITIL international standards, and
- advanced automation capabilities.
“The change began through direct dialogue with business areas, where we analyzed the critical points of existing IT processes. It became clear that we needed to go beyond incident management and redesign our operations to deliver simpler, more accessible, transparent, and effective services,” said Carlo Burrafato, Head of Innovation and Data Analytics at Tea. “This vision guided all our decisions, pushing us to explore ITSM solutions with a broader Enterprise Service Management (ESM) perspective. To support this evolution, Tea chose S2E, technological partner and first Italian system integrator of
HaloITSM. S2E led the project that enabled Tea to adopt HaloITSM’s cloud-native, modular, and AI-ready platform, perfectly aligned with Tea’s needs for automation, governance, and scalability.
Through a high-value approach and a multi-phase implementation plan, S2E and Tea achieved:
- Centralization of Incident, Request, Problem, and Change Management flows according to ITIL 4 best practices
- Activation of a custom self-service portal
- Integration of HaloITSM with existing Asset Management and monitoring tools
- A structured governance model
