OBSERVABILITY
Observability means the ability to observe the behaviour of an enterprise system by controlling its outputs. This allows us to provide customers with KPIs to monitor their systems so that they can act quickly if there is a problem.
Beyond the monitoring, there is the Observability. We can evaluate the performance of complex systems using a non-intrusive approach to correlate and measure IT events originating from the system in a way that is valuable to the business.
By combining user experience, application performance and infrastructure metrics, we can compute the KPI for the entire IT ecosystem and detect unexpected phenomena using ML algorithms.
- An event log is an immutable, timestamped record of discrete events that happened over time. Event logs in general come in three forms but are fundamentally the same: a timestamp and a payload of some context;
- Metrics are a numeric representation of data measured over intervals of time. Metrics can harness the power of mathematical modeling and prediction to derive knowledge of the behavior of a system over intervals of time in the present and future;
- A trace is a representation of a series of causally related distributed events that encode the end-to-end request flow through a distributed system.

LAKEHOUSE
High-performance computing is rapidly moving beyond the historical fields of large research centers to enter the business world.
Thanks to big data and cloud native architectures we design a new class of data warehouse (DWH).
The Lakehouse combine the prerogatives of DWH in a context of infrastructural scaling and intelligent cost.
Modernisation of DWH (on-site or in the cloud) by applying the new Data Lakehouse approach. With Data Lakehouse it is possible to enable users to analyse structured and unstructured data for the application of Data Science and Machine Learning algorithms or create Dashboards and Reports.

GAIA
Artificial Intelligence Purchasing Management (GAIA) is S2E’s software that uses artificial intelligence algorithms in pharmacy reordering automation, providing immediate inventory reduction and significantly improving shop margins.
Today, automation and artificial intelligence are the drivers of pharmacy evolution. Technology has become part of everyday life, changing traditional practices and opening up new areas of profitability. There are currently more than 200 Italian pharmacies that have installed the GAIA solution.
